Here are some common clarifications requested about the license agreement.

Q Do we need to buy a license for each developer using the control or each developer working on the project?

A Neither. You buy one license for each development team and you're done.

Q Do we have to pay more if we redistribute the libary with our application?

A No. The library is royalty free, you can redistribute it freely with your application.

Q We've written an ASP application using the library, do we have to buy a license for each CPU we install it on?

A No, for the purposes of licensing an ASP application is the same as any other application.

Q We're an ISP/Web Hoster; would one license allow us to provide the library to all our customers?

A Unfortunately not - but we can offer you a customised package for providing the library to your customers. Contact us if you're interested.


						License Agreement – Developers’ License Retail Edition
						

						Codestone Ltd grants a license to use the Internet Mail Client Control Library (the library) to the original
						purchaser. Copies may be made for back-up purposes only. Copies made for any other purpose are expressly
						prohibited.
						Applications using the library may be freely distributed, without royalty payments to Codestone Ltd, provided that
						the library is bound into these applications in such a way so as to prohibit separate use in design mode, and that the
						library is distributed only in conjunction with the customer's own software product. In the case of static or dynamic
						libraries the customer’s application must include significant value added functionality and specialisation to the
						library. The library may not be distributed by itself in any form.
						This software is provided "as is". Codestone Ltd makes no warranty, expressed or implied, with regard to the
						software. All implied warranties, including the warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular use, are
						hereby excluded.
						CODESTONE’S LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE PURCHASE PRICE. Under no circumstances shall
						Codestone Ltd or the authors of this product be liable for any incidental or consequential damages, nor for any
						damages in excess of the original purchase price.
